WELCOME, I'M JORGE CUÉLLAR RENDÓN A CHARACTER DESIGNER, storyboard artist AND 2D ANIMATOR
I was born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, where I spent my childhood playing music, painting, and drawing, fantasizing about one day becoming a professional animation film maker. I'm now 33 years old, currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and my childhood passions became my life work.
I have more than 12 years of experience as a character designer, Storyboard artist and 2D animator. I specialize in Art direction, Production Design, Visual development and Animation Direction for Animated films, motion graphics and Mobile Games.
As a visual artist, I seek to create narrative images, characters and entire worlds with digital tools and techniques, through the use of drawing and color in stylized and cartoon style design.
In the last years, I have been working as a freelancer for national and international companies such as: Disney Channel L.A.; Discovery Kids L.A.; MTV L.A.; Cartoon Network L.A.; Coca Cola; Gearbox; Idea Rocket and Buck Design.
